pains are coins

A week ago  my little sister was admitted to hospital because  her childbirth was delayed .We always hear  about  heart-rending stories about tough delivery. For this reason  we were worried.

I can’t deny  that I am very excited to be an aunt again , but I was  anxious too ,so anxious.I even  went as far as telling  her the other day  to give up the idea of having another child in the future .I didn’t mean to bother her  though I did ,but  seeing her in pain and the fear that something bad might happen to her scared me to death.

My mother believes  that giving birth to children  is what keeps life beats throbbing and she’s right for  joy  swept our house with the arrival of Jasmin, Joseph, Lina, and Jacob but the fear was great too.

Life is not free ,neither is happiness. It seems like pain is the coin that we must  put in life pocket to enjoy the pleasures in it.As a muslim, I was taught that pain is our God’s way of purifying us  from our bad deeds and that the almighty distributes pains to people according their ability to endure  and   the secret  of survival lies not only in faith but in love for life itself. Yes, though life is painful most of the time, the rewards are  worthy of keep going no matter what happens or will happen.

The soul of giving

Gifts! I love gifts for a gift is a token of  caring ,love and gratitude .I’m not that rich but whenever I am offered the chance to offer my family members  or any of my students or a friend of mine a gift I seize it.

Small or big, cheap or expensive, gifts always have their lasting magic  on souls; the soul of the giver as well as  that of the receiver.

I don’t know about you ,but I ‘m very impatient with birthdays, too impatient that  I  could not  wait  for a birthday  to light up to offer my gift .I always hand  it over  a day  or two days ahead of time because I love seeing  shimmering eyes especially when I’m the holder of the match.

Still, I didn’t know  the great power that lies in a gift till yesterday, I mean that gift  received when not expected,a gift that  is  a token of respect. It was “a souvenir” that a friend brought for me from Egypt.Receiving makes me feel shy though gifts make me happy  that’s why when I was handed over the gifl  I was drown in a sea of mixed feelings ,a beautiful sea of happiness, gratitude and shyness.I even could not sleep that night not because of the gift but because of the word I was gifted with the gift. “Sihem ,you are a good person”.I always receive gifts , but this word is the most precious  of all that I will always cherish.

Really , nice  words though  cost us nothing, they are the most precious gifts ever .For this reason  prophet Muhammed  may peace be upon him ordained us to “speak a good word or remain silent.”

The Mad Poetess

In a  poetry book lives my prince charming

Taken captive by poems.

Being swept , poesy fears,

Into a burning  ocean of  tears

If he enfranchises  him

For his words are enamoured with

 His angelic eye smile,

weaving it into   sighs

for poets every night.

My wrath tore my treacherous poems  asunder

and my jealousy burned down my charmed words

My prince charming is my captive

and no woman but me

Will guard him

not even  my hymns.

Invade your heart ,steal his beats and tune them to the symphony of love ! (part 2)

That he’s different from you doesn’t mean he’s subordinate to you. Difference is the fount of knowledge, enrichment and enlightenment and beauty. Allah has created legion of different species of flowering plants, animals, fish, and human. Nature taught all creatures to live in peace and harmony for in their differences lies the essence of their survival. But she failed to tame human beings whose differences set their hearts apart ,and torn the map of their souls. You can sow the field of the other and he can pick the fruits ,that allured his mind ,or soul or heart ,from yours .I’m the other ,you’re the other .I can teach you a lot about my world to understand it better  and you can enlighten me about yours too  in return to not tread on some traps that might ruin the bridge of harmony we’re trying to build together .Because to understand how the other’s world works, is the secret of a strong bond .So ,when the other steps into your territory ,gift him a big basket that is replete with amazing traditions, inspiring folktales ,healing stories, instead of aiming your rifle to his heart.

Invade your heart, steal his beats and tune them to the symphony of love! (part 1)

That she or he left you behind doesn’t mean you’re not worth his /her love .It doesn’t mean  that she or he is ungrateful either. Beginnings  are like delivering  child ;they’re painful ,but they bear life within them . Breaking up is a beginning. It’s a sea that is replete with  pearls of hope, of life,of love, and of change  .You just have to bend down and gather them to make  out of them a necklace to put around the life and take  that crown of sadness, off her beautiful head. Remember  when you look back at those days , to look at them with grateful heart ,because she or he set you free to taste the happiness that  you deserve, a happiness that you didn’t know with him or her.You wish  sometimes that you can turn the clock back to do things differently to make things work .You wouldn’t wish that if that person is worthless. Deep down you believe  there is good in him or her,and that  giving up on you doesn’t mean she  /he is not . The earth never bears grudge against the earthquake  ,because she knows ,it’s nature’s way to  start a new beginning  the next day. There is no timeless  earthquake , nor timeless  sadness either.

Be your own hero!

Be your own hero !  You don’t have to  carve a hero from the bones of Napoleon or  Alexander the great and erect it in your heart to lead you  or to inspire you . Just set free the shy hero lurking  within you. Trust his directions ,the way they trusted theirs and if the road is obstructed , dig your way through the earth . Never  give up  when your fingers bleed ;bind your wounds and resume the fight  because you must learn how to conquer pain for you’re born free . Let your will subdue the pain . Time heals bruises but  not regrets  so  be intrepid and take the initiative . Seek inspiration in your soul not in theirs  so that  when you tame the lofty mountains  some day , history will  bow before your strength  not  that of Samson ,before your wisdom not that of  Hannibal . Remember you ‘re born to walk  by  the side of great men not behind them .

I am in love

I’m in love with the wind  that never gets tired of  carrying  my paper  boats .

I’m in love with the moon that sprinkles light in dark paths.

I’m in love with the rain that plays for me music of life when  I feel down.

I’m in love with wild butterflies .They’re angels in disguise.

I’m in love with rainbow that draws  hope everywhere.

I’m in love with my diary that keeps my secrets.

I’m in love in love that makes our tears more precious than diamonds.

Was it worth it?

Was it worth it to let a  friend in need down ?   If you do, who’s then  going to carry your coffin? Only a friend’s shoulder can bear the weight of your cold bones. Was it worth it to scream at your old mother ? If you do, how  then are you going to pay her lost whispers  to sooth  your  young frail soul  back? Only your tender voice can empower her weakness.

Was it worth it to unveil a woman or a man’s sins ?  If you do, how then do you expect the Almighty to cover yours? Only your prayers for them can dim the darkness of sin in you.

Was it worth it to argue with your neighbor on worldly possessions? If you do then who’s going to dig your grave? Only a neighbor and a father and a son weep when entrusting the earth with you .

Was it worth it to take life from people ? If you do ,then who’s going to share with you winter ? Only human beings love dancing under  the rain.

Was it worth it to fight for worldly possessions that we will leave behind us when we die and take none ?  Was it worth it to spend all our lifetime drowned  in hatred because of tiny differences that  Allah has created to keep monotony and brooding clouds away from our life and grow seeds of compassion in our souls?

Farewell my love,the earth said

I saw from afar the shy sun untangling her  golden locks,

And the dainty moon  trying on  his silver cloak,

The  stars  too are  busy polishing their foreheads.

I also heard  my arabian roses reproaching the wind

For  messing up their beautiful petals

And the nightingale is hushing them for

The earth is embracing her love Ramadan.

It’s time to leave but she can’t let him go.

Eid is coming tomorrow,

The sun and the moon tell her,

You have to  wipe your tears

And welcome him with a big  smile,

for children doesn’t love sorrow.

But after 30 day-stay

It is  hard to say goodbye

With a deep sigh  the stars say .

The Amazing Patience of the Prophet Ayub (Job)

The Amazing Patience of the Prophet Ayub (Job)
by Ibn Kathîr
Ibn Ishaaq stated that he was a man of Rum. His names was Ayub Ibn Mose Ibn Razeh Ibn Esau Ibn Isaac Ibn Abraham. Someone else said he was Ayub Ibn Mose, Ibn Rimil Ibn Esau Ibn Isaac Ibn Jacob. There have also been other statements in his lineage. Ibn Asaker narrated that his mother was a daughter of Prophet Lut.It was said, also, that his father was one who believed in Abraham when he was cast into the fire. The first opinion is the most plausable as he was a descendant of Abrahams offspring as Allah Almighty declared:

“That was the reasoning about Us which We gave to Abraham (to use) against his people: We raise whom We will degree after degree: for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge. We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) We guided: and before him We guided Noah and before him We guided Noah and among his progeny David Solomon Ayub Joseph Moses and Aaron: thus do We reward those who do good” Quran 6:83-84
Allah the Almighty praised His worshipper Ayub in His Glorious Quran:

“Truly! We found him patient. How excellent a slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance to Us” Quran 38:44
Ayub was repentant, remembering Allah with thankfulness, patience and steadfastness. This was the cause of his rescue and the secret of Allah’s praising him.

A group of angels were discussing Allah’s other human creatures, how those who were humble earned Allah’s displease, while those who were arrogant incurred His displeasure. One of the angels remarked:

“The best creature on earth today is Ayub, a man of noble character who displays excellent patience and always remembers his Generous Lord. He is an excellent model for the worshippers of Allah. In return, his Lord has blessed him with a long life and plenty of riches, yet he is never haughty or selfish. His family, his servants, as well as the needy and the poor share in his good fortune; he feeds and clothes the poor and buys slaves to set them free. He makes those who receive his charity feel as if they are favouring him, so kind and gentle is he.”

Iblis, overhearing all this, became annoyed. He planned to tempt Ayub to corruption and disbelief, so he hastened to him. He tried to distract Ayub from his prayers by whispering to him about the good things in life, but Ayub was a true believer and would not let evil thoughts tempt him. This disturbed Iblis more; thus he began to hate Ayub even more.

Iblis complained to Allah about Ayub. He said that although he was continuously glorifying Allah, he was not doing so out of his sincerity but to satisfy Allah so that his wealth should not be taken away. It was all a show, all out of greed. “If You remove his wealth then You will find that his tongue will no longer mention Your name and his praying will stop.”

Allah told Iblis that Ayub was one of His most sincere devotees. He did not worship Him because of the favors; his worship stemmed from his heart and had nothing to do with material things. But to prove Iblis the depth of Ayub’ s sincerity and patience, Allah allowed him to do whatever he and his helpers wished with Ayub’s wealth.

Iblis was very happy. He gathered his helpers and set about destroying Ayub’s cattle, servants, and farms until he was left with no possessions. Rubbing his hands in glee, Iblis appeared before Ayub in the guise of a wise old man and said to him:

“All your wealth is lost. Some people say that it is because you gave too much charity and that you are wasting your time with your continuous prayers to Allah. Others say that Allah has bought this upon you in order to please your enemies. If Allah had the capacity to prevent harm, then He would have protected your wealth”

True to his belief, Ayub replied:

“What Allah has taken away from me belongs to Him. I was only its trustee for a while. He gives to whom He wills and withholds from whom He wills”

With these words, Ayub again prostrated to his Lord.

When Iblis saw this, he felt frustrated, so he again addressed Allah:

“I have stripped Ayub of all his possessions, but he still remains grateful to You. However, he is only hiding his disappointment, for he places great store by his many children. The real test of a parent is through him children. You will then see how Ayub will reject You”

Allah granted Iblis authority, but warned him that it would not reduce Ayub’s faith in his Lord nor his patience.

Iblis again gathered his helpers and set about his evil deeds. He shook the foundation of the house in which Ayub’s children were living and sent the building crashing, killing all of them. Then he went to Ayub disguised as a man who had come to sympathize with him. In a comforting tone he said to Ayub:

“The circumstances under which your children died were sad. Surely, your Lord is not rewarding you properly for all your prayers?”

Having said this Iblis waited anxiously, hoping Ayub was now ready to reject Allah. But again Ayub disappointed him by replying:

“Allah sometimes gives and sometimes takes. He is sometimes pleased and sometimes displeased with our deeds. Whether a thing is beneficial or harmful to me, I will remain firm in my belief and remain thankful to my Creator”

Then Ayub prostrated to his Lord. At this Iblis was extremely vexed. Iblis again called on Allah:

“O my Lord, Ayub’s wealth is gone, his children are dead, but he is still healthy in body, and as long as he enjoys good health he will continue to worship You in the hope of regaining his wealth and producing more children. Grant me authority over his body so that I may weaken it. He will surely neglect worshipping You and withh thus becomes disobedient”

Allah wanted to teach Iblis a lesson that Ayub was a devoted servant of his Lord, so He granted Iblis his third request but placed a condition:

“I give you authority over his body but not over his soul, intellect, or heart, for in these places reside the knowledge of Me and My religion”

Armed with this new authority, Iblis began to take revenge on Ayub’s body and filled it with disease until it was reduced to mere skin and bone and he suffered severe pain. But through all the suffering Ayub remained string in his faith, patiently bearing all the hardships without complaining. Allah’s righteous servant did not despair or turn to others for help but remained hopeful of Allah’s Mercy. Even close relatives and friends deserted him. Only his kind loving wife stayed with him. In his hour of need, she showered her kindness on him and cared for him. She remained his sole companion and comforter through many years of his suffering.

Ibn Asaker narrated: “Ayub was a man having much wealth of all kinds: beasts, slaves, sheep, vast lands of Haran and many children. All those favors were taken from him and he was physically afflicted as well. Never a single organ was sound except his heart and tongue, with both of which he glorified Allah, the Almighty all the time day and night. His disease lasted for a long time until his visitors felt disgusted with him. His friend kept away from him, and people abstained from visiting him. No one felt sympathy for him except his wife. She took good care of him, knowing his former charity and pity for her”

Therefore, Iblis became desperate. He consulted his helpers but they could not advise him. They asked:

“How is it that your cleverness cannot work against Ayub, yet you succeeded in misleading Adam, the father of man, out of paradise?”

Iblis went to Ayub’s wife in the form of a man. “Where is your husband?” he asked her.

She pointed to an almost lifeless form crumpled on the bed and said: “There he is, suspended between life and death.”

Iblis reminded her of the days when Ayub had good health, wealth and children. Suddenly, the painful memory of yeas of hardship overcame her, and she burst into tears. She said to Ayub:

“How long are you going to bear this torture from our Lord? Are we to remain without wealth, children or friends forever? Why don’t you call upon Allah to remove this suffering?”

Ayub sighed, and in a soft voice replied:

“Iblis must have whispered to you and made you dissatisfied. Tell me, how long did I enjoy good health and riches?”

She replied, “For eighty years”

Then Ayub asked, “How long am I suffering like this?”

She said, “for seven years”

Then Ayub told her:

“In that case I am ashamed to call on my Lord to remove the hardship, for I have not suffered longer than the years of good health and plenty. It seems your faith has weakened and you are dissatisfied with the fate of Allah. If I ever again health, I swear I will punish you with a hundred strokes! From this day onward, I forbid myself to eat or drink anything from your hand. Leave me alone and let my Lord do with me as He pleases.”

Crying bitterly and with a heavy heart, she had no choice but to leave him and seek shelter elsewhere. In his helpless state, Ayub turned to Allah, notto complain but to seek His mercy:

“Verily, dsitress has seized me, and You and the Most Merciful of all those who show Mercy. So We answered his call, and We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his family to him (that he had lost) and the like thereof along with them – as a mercy from Ourselves and a Reminder for all who whorship Us” Quran 21:83-84
Almighty Allah also instructed:

“Commemorate Our servant Ayub behold he cried to his Lord: “The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering”! (The command was given:) “Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash cool and refreshing and (water) to drink.” And We gave him (back) his people and doubled their number as a Grace from Ourselves and a thing for commemoration for all who have Understanding.” Quran 38:41-43
Ayub obeyed, and almost immediately his good health was restored. Meanwhile, his faithful wife could no longer bear to be parted from her husband and returned to beg his forgiveness, desiring to serve him. On entering he house, she was amazed at the sudden change: Ayub was again healthy! She embraced him and thanked Allah for His mercy.

Ayub was now worried, for he had taken an oath to punish her with a hundred strokes if he regained health, but he had no desire to hurt her. He knew if he did not fulfill the oath, he would be guilty of breaking a promise to Allah. Therefore, in His wisdom and mercy, Allah came to the assistance of His faithful servant, and advised him: .

“And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly we found him patient. How excellent a slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance to Us”Quran 38:44
Abu Huraira (ra) narrated that the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) said:

“While Ayub was naked, taking a bath, a swarm of locusts fell on him, and he started collecting them in his garment. His Lord called him: ‘O Ayub! Have I not made you too rich to need what you see?’ He said: ‘Yes, O Lord! But I cannot shun Your Blessings” (Bukhari)

The story of Ayub should be a constant reminder for us all. We should read this story often just to remind ourselves. Many of us complain about the little things in life. Allah tested Ayub in ways that we can really relate to. His faith and patience is something that we as true believing Muslims should try and implement in our lives, when Allah tests us in these situations. In the Quraan Allah says,

“Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft returning in repentance (to us).” [Quran:38:4].
During these times we must remember Allah more, pray harder, and be more thankful instead of being dissatisfied with our condition. We should praise and thank Allah for every condition that he tests us with. As we know these are the times when Satan tries to work on us the most by playing with our minds, emotions, and weaknesses. Allah would never forget to reward a servant for such a great task.

“And (remember) Ayub when he cried to his Lord: Verily, distress has seized me and you are the Most Merciful of all who show mercy.” [Quraan:21:83]

“So We answered his call, and We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his family to him (that he had lost), and the like thereof along with them, as a mercy from Ourselves and a Reminder for all those who worship us.” [Quraan:21:84]

May Allah give us the faith and the patience when we are tested. Ameen.

“Stop looking for me so intently, so that I may find you.”

~ Jennifer Santaniello

Sometimes the answers we need are right in front of our face.  Sometimes, it takes a good friend and person to say to us, “slow down!!!!”.  Maybe what we are looking for is actually patiently waiting for us to slow down and stop running frantically about, so that it may finally catch up to us.

There are times in our lives which demand and require our biggest fight, if we are fortunate enough parts of our lives will always require us to dig this deep.  Yet, there are times in life where only in our arrest, in our stillness do we find what we need, or rather, what we need finds us.  Perhaps the key is just the right balance of action, persistence, determination, patience as well as the willingness to stop where we are when need be, and just be happy, feel grateful and allow the seeds we’ve planted along the way to rise up around us in greatness and

My intention in writing this post tonight is to remind you that it is ok to slow down every so often, and allow the answers you seek to find you.  Sit back tonight, relax, do something that makes you incredibly happy and if that entails doing nothing other then sitting in silence, then so be it!  Who knows, perhaps it is in our quietest moments that we receive the answers to our biggest questions (;

Dawn Rain

We woke up at  3:00 am for  Suhur , which is a predawn meal in Ramadan , prayed , and read few chapters from Quran then all retreated  to their rooms to take a rest. It was 5:00 am when it started drizzling. I was sitting at my desk staring at my notebook trying to write something but to no avail , my heart ‘s whispers wouldn’t come  . I guess I have writer’s block . My spiral notebook is in a mess , it was a gift from my twin brother  and I  have to piece together its pages before he sees  that . I love spiral notebooks but I fail to keep them one piece . It’s like I have a  graveyard of notebooks.
The house was so quiet .Crowing of roosters was overwhelming the serene horizon perfumed with  drizzle beads . I jumped from my seat and headed towards  the French window and opened it  to greet the morning rain . I smiled  at the sky  that was studded with generous grey clouds . Deep down I know that  Mika’el the angel of rain was soothing the heat of the earth by bathing its summer breeze before muslims start their fourth day of fasting by the command of Allah .
We fast  14 hours a day  in my home country . We abstain from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk and they’re very precious moments  that a muslim treasures and the  joy of breaking fast is unrivalled . Everything about Ramadan is rewarding , so is the  feeling it creates within us ,that of  gratefulness for being a muslim .When the sun goes down  indicating time to  break our fast , with the very first sip of water a fathomable but intangible feeling overwhelms me . A   feeling  that  I  know where it comes from but words can’t describe it . A feeling that makes my soul  recite merely  “there is no God but Allah ” .

the donkey can see Satan and the rooster can see angels

Why can the donkey see Satan  while the rooster  can see angels ?  This  is a miracle of our Prophet Muhammad  peace be upon him . Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger as saying :” When you listen to the crowing of the rooster, ask Allah for His favor as it sees Angels and when you listen to the braying of the donkey, seek refuge in Allah from the Satan for it sees Satan.( Muslim Book 035, Number6581) . How many times did we  hear this Hadith of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم ? But  we  neither ponder over  it  nor  expect that it bears within it  a scientific breakthrough that has spellbound the entire world.
The ability of  human visual apparatus is limited  and differs  from that of donkey which itself differs from that of a rooster.
The ability of  human vision  is limited  in that humans  cannot  see under Red rays nor Violet rays but the ability of both roosters and donkey outdoes  that ,which  brings to mind  the following  question : how  can the donkey  see satan and the rooster can see angels?
Satan  is made of fire  that is from red rays  that’s why the donkey can see the Satan but can’t see angels. While the rooster  can see angels  that are made of light  that is of violet rays .This explains why  Satan runs away when angels show up  when Allah is mentioned .  Why? The answer is Satan get hurt by seeing angels in other words    if violet rays and red rays mix together  in one place red rays  fade away . Who told prophet Muhammad this before 14 centuries ? We can’t help but saying  The prophet says the truth
Allah say the truth.

Heaven Perfume

Virgin , pristine , spotless are gems  that stud  a Muslimah’s crown , once the sparkle of which  is dimmed under the shade of  sin , she will be looked upon  as  morally loose , wrong-doer and  worthless .
In Islam , woman is a token of chastity , so is man . Allah honored man by enjoining  woman to  keep herself  chaste and honored woman by enjoining man to keep himself chaste as well , and transgressing that divine law  begets nothing but  Allah’s wrath  and self-disgust.
Chastity is not a trophy  that  Muslimah  can win only by  taking  vows  of chastity  .  She doesn’t have to   shun  people  as though they were leprous  and  imprison herself in a lofty tower . She  doesn’t have to spend her lifetime only  in  praying  and contemplation  either . From  dawn to dusk , a true Muslimah is in worship ,  fulfilling all the parts that Allah has blessed  with , appreciating and rejoicing  in all the worldly blessings Allah has endowed her with  but within his divine rules .She is that chase maiden who prays , fasts , and obeys her parents and helps relatives . She is that  chase wife who  shields her husband  from sins and fornication and honors him in her presence and his absence  . She is that chase devout mother whom Allah promised heaven  for the tough times she went through during   pregnancy , child delivery  , breast-feeding  and watching over  her children , and guiding them  .  The Prophet Muhammad said, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him: Your Heaven lies under the feet of your mother (Ahmad, Nasai). Allah says in his holy book  “We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents; in pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth” (46:15).
Allah rewards  mothers who  harbor seeds of life in their wombs and tend  them till they grow into  beautiful creatures that will carry the message of life and truth  till the day of judgement  and thus  denouncing renunciation and monasticism as they violate one of Allah’s commandment  and make unlawful good things that Allah made lawful  in both holy books  Quran and bible which is marriage and giving birth to children. Allah says
“-[2:223]  Your women are the bearer of your seed.  Thus, you may enjoy this privilege however you like, so long as you maintain righteousness.  You shall observe God, and know that you will meet Him.  Give good news to the believers.” (Quran)
-“26 God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it.” (Genesis ,Old testament).
Renunciation is  unreasonable . It’s a  machine the inner working of it  shows that it is a  human creation  for it is defective  . So is monasticism  .What would happen to earth if all women  choose  to turn into nuns ? What would be the future of humanity when males find themselves alone as all females  locked themselves in  a desolate  house ? How man will be able to ” fill the earth ” as God enjoins him to do?  . Does that mean  that mothers and wives  are not loved by God ?  Are mothers creatures  who do not seek God’s grace  and pursue  worldly pleasures instead  ? If God created male and female to ” be fruitful,to multiply , fill the earth.” how can a nun claim that she is an  obedient servants  of God while she  breaks one of his prominent rules  ?
Muslimah is a gem , original one not fake. Even when she commits a mistake her repentance made her sparkle  enlighten  the entire earth   for she knows that  there is Allah to turn to when deviating from the straight path .  Allah who doesn’t  put a barrier  called mediator to listen to his servants’ pleas  . Allah who ” has greater joy at the repentance of one His slaves when he turns towards Him than one of you would have over his mount, which, having escaped from him with his food and drink in the middle of the desert so that he has despaired of finding it and gone to a tree to lie down in its shade, suddenly appears standing by him while he is in that state, so that he takes its reins and then says out of the intensity of his joy, ‘O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Lord!’ getting confused because of his intense joy. ”  That’s the Muslimah . She follows Allah’s commands ,and appreciates all the blessing  within her, and those around her  within the frame of Allah and she will always do till the day of judgement .

A Muslimah in Love

Tell me tender stars, can you see any traces of him?
Can  you hear his  serene  footsteps?
I can  smell his divine perfume and see his sparkling crown from afar.
I can hear neighbors whispering his name when passing by.
It’s him ,it’s Ramadan !
He’s here my lovely star!
He’s walking tall.
It’s him, it’s Ramadan .
He’s tearing his necklace and sprinkling its benevolent  beads
Each bead  bears  a  divine seed in it
Every seed  grows  into a white rose.
It’s him ,it’s  Ramadan .
The sky gets  more generous  as he gets closer.
It’s Ramadan.
Go my lovely star and tell the earth that Ramadan is here .
Tell her to wipe her tears  and be ready  to welcome him
After  sleepless  restless nights longing for  him.

You cross the line and you have to step back !

You draw a Muslim as a wolfman who  preys  only on  flesh and blood  of the innocent  in your poem that drips  with hatred , prejudice , bitterness  and  ignorance . You  have imprisoned all Muslims  in a bottle  you call ” The suicide Bombers”  and released giant misleading thoughts and unfounded  allegations . You talk as though you know everything about Islam , Quran and  Prophet Muhammad’s words may peace be upon him . But you have zero knowledge about us .
♥There is no room for  hatred in a true muslim’s heart , that muslim who follows Allah’s commandments and Prophet Muhammad’s teaching .  A true muslim is raised to love , to forgive , and to spread life not to rob it . “The messenger of God said to me (Anas), Son, if you are able , keep your heart from morning till night and from night till morning free from malice towards  anyone ; then he said, Oh! My son, this is one of my laws, and he who loves my laws loves me.”♥

♥A true muslim  respects his  non-muslim neighbor and he has  duties towards him including protecting his interests when he is absent , showing him respect when he is present, helping  him when he is inflicted with any injustice  , not remaining on look-out to detect his faults ; and if , by any chance , he happens to know any undesirable thing about him , hides it from others . And, at the same time,  he tries to desist him from improper habits, if there is any chance that he will listen to him , never leaving him alone in any calamity, forgive him, if he has done any wrong .♥

♥ That was and is  the teaching of our beloved Muhammad peace upon him  whom  Allah Subhanoho wa-T’ala Says to him in The Holy Quran:

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِين

“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to mankind.” (The Prophets 21:107).

Our beloved  prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him, enjoins us to show mercy towards non-muslims as he had always done . Some of his neighbors were non-muslims. He would be kind to them like the  Jewish poor family he would regularly gave charity to . Even after his death , Muslims maintained his charity towards them . Another story bears witness to his mercy ,that of Christian delegation from Ethiopian churches  who came to Medina and  the Prophet opened up his mosque for them to stay in, hosted them generously, and personally served them meals. He said:“They were generous to our companions, so I wish to be generous to them in person…” ♥

♥A true Muslim doesn’t take lives  either for life is sacred even that of small creatures and Allah the almighty will chastise those who   trespass his commandment  about that . Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him too preaches kindness not cruelty and hatred . It is narrated that during a journey the Prophet left his companion for a while. During his absence, his companion saw a bird called hummara and took two young ones away from the mother bird. The mother bird was circling above in the air, beating its wings in grief, when the Prophet came back and said: “Who has hurt the feelings of this bird by taking its young? Return them to her”. The Prophet companion then replaced the offspring in the same bush.Another stories tells that on the way to a battle, the Prophet army marched towards Makkah (now known as Mecca) to conquer it, they passed a female dog with puppies. The Prophet not only gave orders that the mother dog and puppies should not be hurt or disturbed, but posted a man to see that this was done.

♥A true muslim is not a murder or a ” suicid bomber ” . Allah condemns killing the innocent . Allah ,the almighty says in his holy book:

[Quran 60:8] GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable.

[Quran 8:61] If they resort to peace, so shall you, and put your trust in GOD. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.

[Quran 4:90]”…Therefore, if they leave you alone, refrain from fighting you, and offer you peace, then GOD gives you no excuse to fight them.”

You refer to all muslims as “suicid bombers”  in your poem and that’s wrong, and illogical and too judgmental . You disdain suicid bombers  for taking  lives of  the innocent while you point an accusing  finger at  people ,calling them murders ,stripping them of their honor, kindness and humanity on the ground that a muslim  exploded himself . You try to ruin the reputation of people  who don’t know anything about harming others . Allah don’t punish people for the faults of others , each has to take the responsibility of  their actions. Who gave you the right to judge people ? you don’t even know their names ,their background, their culture, or their dreams !
♥I am  muslim and  I am proud of being Muslim for Islam preaches love, tolerance, altruism and compassion .With every Dawn prayer ,with every Ramadan, with every new sunrise and new sunset ,I praise Allah for being a muslim for the serenity I feel is beyond description .♥
Please make sure   not to twist my words  when reporting them next time . I didn’t say suicider  bomb sisters and brothers  in Islam  . I said sister and brother in Islam , it was a warm greeting that you twisted its meaning .It would be more credible and honest to  report my words as they are  for honesty  is a fabric of us as human  too  isn’t it?

Lies, More lies and Damn lies

“In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” ~George Orwell

Truth is a trophy that all seek. Whether one seeks “the truth” about life, spirit, death and afterlife or is simply wanting to be told the truth is very much the same. Nobody wishes for falsehood; never does one wish to be lied to or deceived. Yet, we all deceive from time to time despite our desire for others to be truthful. The sphere of truth is a complex place, one that imparts confusion, thought and intuition.

To be honest, I highly doubt that a soul has lived who hasn’t either told a lie, hidden the truth or acted in some form of deceit. This is an undeniable human characteristic that knows nothing of spirit. In the action of deception, the true soul is muffled for a moment, though the conscience feels the guilt of the action.

We all stumble into this sphere generally when we are protecting ourselves as children, though as we grow we certainly learn the perils of deception and prevarication. Some become very “good” at lying and manipulation if it works in their favor. Others have the hand of karma instantly slap them in the face.

Lying has never been my forte. I was never good at it, and it almost always seemed to instantly backfire on me. Despite this, the feeling of guilt afterward was often too much to bear. This feeling would make me sick to my stomach, and I could never sleep no matter the situation.

After getting into a sticky situation once at the age of 13, a friend and I managed to lie our way out of it. All was clear for about a week, but during the time I remained very uneasy. About a week and a half later the cat was out of the bag and the punishment came down like an anvil. I’ll never forget the slap across the face by my mother for looking her in the eye and lying to her. I can still feel the sting to this day. Needless to say I learned my lesson then and there.

We have big lies, little lies and damn lies. But we also have the white lies. People say little white lies are harmless.. Are they? What is harmless about deception? Just remember no matter the lie, someone is getting deceived and this is a destructive behavior.

Travel the sphere of truth. Do not be afraid to admit your wrongs and recognize your faults. Be a beacon of truth to all those around you. In baring your soul and owning your actions, you become whole and one with the sphere of truth.

Keep in mind, the great thing about telling the truth is that you don’t have to remember anything; truth is natural.

                                                                            I Am You~

As I take a moment, prior to any “exchange” with another fellow traveler on this journey and consider that what they are be bringing to the table, may possibly Not be who they really Are, I am graced with a different “view” of who I am communicating with. Moreover and in Most cases, what I am seeing and hearing is just a byproduct of social conditioning, ingrained patterning, belief systems and experiences.
With this knowing, it becomes easier to find and relate to what I will call “the foundational self”. As I ask myself who this soul was prior to the pain, fear, abandonment, etc. I find the answer to Always be the same. I am talking to a beautiful, innocent, vulnerable, sometimes scared and lonely Child of our Creator.
I am talking to “me”~♥
Even if they are screaming at me, my “filter” is already in place and what I hear is a cry for Love, a desire to be understood and held in the Light of who they Really Are. With this “view” I can truly be of service to them, As “ME”. After all, we may look and sound different, come from different backgrounds, cultures and belief systems, yet our “unconditioned selves”, the *child* before training is Always exactly the same.

I Am You~

Submit and Decide, then…. ….

                                          Submit and Decide, then….

Muhammad said, “Submit”

Jesus said, “Decide”

Let us not get confused.

Nothing is contradictory in what they were saying,

for the statements complement each other.

Submit ourselves in humility only to the Almighty,

then we will become the wind

that blows to any direction She wishes.

Decide that we want to become Her arrow,

then we could move a mountain

without even moving our finger.

Submit and decide

Then we will find our heart is pure like water

and sparkle like a diamond.

Submit and decide

Then the earth ceases becoming a battlefield.

It turns itself into a lovely playground.

Submit and decide

Then eternal serenity resides in the palm of our hand.

It takes two to tango

Whenever a woman  asks for divorce , all point an accusing finger at her . All are all ears when  narrating evil stories about her  but  deaf to her pleas to listen to her part of story as well. Even when she is a victim of  emotional and physical violence, she shoulders most of the blame .
That wife brings marriage  to closure,   proves  that man hasn’t praised  Allah’s grace upon him .  Woman is a soft creature who cherishes appreciation , respect , comfort and love. When a husband  fails to teach  her how to  adjust in his world softly and safely she will seek another territory where she can have a space of her own or set up her own kingdom  to live free from fear , abuse , prejudice and misjudgment.
A wife has countless rights over her husband, when not fulfilled , her trust and respect vanish and when they do, love perish for love is born  of respect.
All women , no matter where they come from , no matter who they’re  , are one and the same  .They love to be tended like a rose , treasured like a precious stone , listened to like sea ripples and taken care of  like a child  for  Allah the glorified and the exalted has created them as  Prophet  Muhammad peace upon him said, ” from a rib and the most crooked portion of the rib is its upper part; if you try to straighten it, it will break, and if you leave it, it will remain crooked, so I urge you to take care of the women.” (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 114).
Remember , if a woman  has ever trod your gracious land, to appreciate her as she is  and never try to change her because putting up with  her flaws or silly habits is a token of your unconditional love . Rememeber to overlook  her mistakes . By doing so, you teach her to overlook and forgive yours .  Remember  to keep your angers secrets from her  for your home  is nothing but a  sanctuary  where only hymns of love and compassion must be sung as a woman’s  soul is so soft  that  angry talks can  break her. Spare no effort to help her with household chores . One day the Messenger of Allah peace upon him paid a visit to the house of Ali and Fatemah  peace upon them . He saw that Ali  was sieving the pulses and Fatemah  was busy cooking. On observing this the Prophet  may peace be upon him remarked, “O Ali, I do not speak except what is revealed to me. Anyone who helps his wife in her domestic affairs obtains a reward of one year of worship equal to the amount of hair on his body. This year of worship will be as if he has fasted during its days and prayed during its nights. Allah will reward him equal to the reward of all the patient ones, Hazrat Dawood (a.s.) and Hazrat Isa (a.s.).”
Marriage is a story that you can make of it a fairytale the characters in it live happily ever after  just with simple but hearty and loving smiles , apologies, gifts  or surprises.

Breakdown by Richard Voza

Just knowing that the days in her cramped apartment were almost over gave Melissa a little extra energy, so much that she didn’t mind the light rain that began to fall as she stepped to her assigned parking spot. “Just another week,” she thought, “and I’ll be parking in a dry garage instead of this stupid, rainy parking lot.” In the three years she’d lived in the Forrest Lake apartments, only twice had broken glass punctured one of her tires. She wasn’t just moving up from apartment to condo. Two more paychecks would be enough to trade in her dad’s old car for something new.

Her navy blue suit jacket swung on the hook attached to the roof in the back seat as she cut the wheel and sped away from the place where the air-conditioning worked when it felt like it. It was only thirty-five minutes from here to the office. She had timed her new place at forty-six minutes. Even if it were an hour and forty-six minutes, she still would be moving, and moving up, very soon.

She attached the earpiece to her cell phone before reaching 95 North because it would only be about a minute later that her mother would call. Until then, she searched for a traffic report.

“There was yet another assault in Harrison County yesterday,” said the announcer. “The victim was again a female in her early 20′s. She is still in intensive care with internal injuries and a severe concussion. The attacker dragged her out of her car and into a wooded area. Fortunately, a passing motorist witnessed what was –”

“Hi Mom,” Melissa said as she clicked on her phone and off the radio.

“Hi, Dear. You on your way to work?”

Melissa smiled and rolled her eyes. “You call me at the same time every day.”

“So what’s on your schedule for today?”

“Same stuff,” she said. “Cleanings, x-rays, probably get bit by a kid. And some old guy will probably put his hand on my butt.”

“Are you serious?” gasped her mother.

“Oh yeah. I’m due for a few bites and feels this week.”

“Then maybe you shouldn’t work there.”

“Mom. I’m kidding. Relax. You got me out of my apartment. Let’s take one thing at a time. I can’t talk now. I’m running late, and I want to hear the traffic report. And I don’t like to talk when it’s raining.”

What had been a drizzle was now growing into a steady rain.

“Okay,” her mother said. “Call me when you get to work so I know you made it.”

“Sure. Ring you once. Bye.”

“Bye, Dear.”

Melissa thought more about the longer drive from what would soon be her new condo. The expressway was quicker, but there was also a toll. County Road 152 was about fifteen minutes longer, but it was free. “Free,” she thought, “or $1.50 a day, times five days a week, times fifty weeks, that’s $375 a year. I could skip the tolls, leave early, and that would pay for my coffee and bagel all year.”

Before she could disagree with herself, her engine sputtered and stuttered a few times but then continued. Stalling on the I-95 would be rather dangerous because there was no shoulder on this stretch, so she said a small prayer that she’d make it off the highway and to the county road safely.

Melissa loved numbers, and she knew it was exactly fourteen point seven five miles to the office once she exited 95. Ten of those miles were along the thick trees of County Road 152. Every one of those ten miles was deer territory. She allowed no radio and took no phone call until she was beyond 152 because all of her attention needed to be on the lookout for “Bambi.” Today, however, the needs of her engine outweighed the need of the wild life.

Halfway across 152, her engine quit. Dad’s Toyota came to rest on a grassy shoulder where not one house was visible. She knew each connecting street, but at the moment she was not near any of them. She was not accustomed to and had no tolerance for a break in her routine.

As she was still guessing whether or not the closest house was either ahead of or behind her, she instead almost slap herself in the head as she remembered her cell phone. She hit the speed dial for work but didn’t hear the ring she expected. “No signal” was on the screen. She looked at the thick trees on the right and the wall of water now streaming down the windshield, making the trees looked like a Salvador Dali painting. As she turned to the driver’s side, she let out a short scream. There was a knock on the glass and a face looking in. She caught her breath, eased her pulse, and glanced left to be sure the door was locked.

“You okay?” asked a dark man in a hat. She didn’t panic. She held up her phone.

“I,” she choked, “I just called my husband. He’ll be here in a few minutes.” She watched to see if he had believed her. “Thanks, Sir. Thank you for stopping.”

The man’s hat was pulled low. Water ran off the brim. He looked left and right, stood, and rubbed his face like someone who had just woken up. “Ok,” he said. “Good luck.” The rain prevented her from seeing him clearly. She thought she saw facial hair, but he was gone. She reached for a pen in the glove compartment and scribbled on the back of a napkin. “Black male, 200 pounds, red jacket, grayish dirty hat, jeans, brown boots.” She peered into the side view mirror. “Limping. Old blue pick up.” The old blue pickup moved around her and headed off. She couldn’t read the license plate through the downpour, but she was content that she had something helpful for the police.

Melissa clicked the radio back on and waited for another news report or anything to erase the sound of the rain. “And don’t forget our news-spotter hotline. Just press star-1-0-6-0 from your cell phone if you see news, traffic, weather, or anything else that you think we should know.”

She was about to call until she remembered having no signal. As she put her phone down, a white car pulled in front of her and slowly backed up, almost touching her front bumper. Melissa smiled as she peered through the wet windshield at a BMW emblem on the trunk. She smiled more when she dropped her foggy window to reveal a very handsome man with an umbrella.

“Need some help, Miss?” he asked with perfect teeth.

“Um. Uh. Help? Y-yes,” she fumbled.

“Any idea what’s wrong?”

“Wrong?” she said slowly. “No.” She knew that the real problem was how to get his phone number without being obvious.

“Pop the hood and I’ll take a look,” the pretty man said. She fumbled on the floor for the hood latch. She pulled both the trunk and gas tank lid before finally hearing a loud “clack” as the hood jumped up an inch. The man with the umbrella walked to the front of her car and easily lifted the hood.

She jumped out of the car and dashed to join his shelter, moving as close to him as possible. He looked under the hood at what Melissa interpreted as various sizes of metal and rubber with various degrees of road grime. She watched impressed as he scanned the engine, occasionally touching parts and wiggling things. She admired him more as he blurted things like “hmmm, okay,” and “not sure about that.”

The umbrella occasionally moved away from her, but she quickly followed it. He smiled when that happened. Her arms instinctively wrapped across her chest as the rain and cool breezes teased her body. He watched her feeble attempt to cover herself, and the umbrella moved again.

“See this?” he asked, pointing at what appeared to her as a random car part. “Feel how hot that is.” She reached as far as she could without putting her skirt against the wet car. When she almost toppled over, his hands were very ready to grab her hips and pull her back from the car. The combination of three-inch heels and muddy ground put her directly in his arms, looking up at his wonderful face.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” she said, struggling to regain her balance.

Her eyes were so focused on him that she barely heard when he said, “Don’t be sorry,” he breathed. “I’m not.” He studied her face, and she adored his. “Lock your car, get your keys. C’mon. I’ll give you a ride.” She said nothing, just nodded and did as she was told while he studied her skirt.

A few miles away, in a far less pretty part of town, a man with a red jacket, grayish dirty hat, wet jeans, and soaked brown boots limped away from his old blue pickup truck. Inside his wife of forty years was responsible for the heavenly smell of bacon that greeted him even before he entered their leaky, one-bedroom home. She turned as she did every morning to smile at him as he returned from work. Her usual “Welcome home, Honey,” was cut short when she did not see his usual smile.

“What’s wrong, Honey?” she asked, keeping the spatula over the frying pan so no bacon grease dripped on her foot. He shook off the rain and cold that he had brought with him before giving her a stronger than his usual bear hug. When he backed away, she could see something different in his eyes.

“A car was broke down on 152. Young woman all alone. I tried to help her, but I could see she was — kind of — afraid.” The woman couldn’t tell if he was crying or just wet from the rain.

“Honey, don’t you fret none. You did the best you can. If she didn’t want your help, then that’s her bad luck.” She kissed him on the cheek and removed his dripping wet hat. Then she kissed him on his shaved head as he bowed it in prayer.

“Lord, I hope you got that girl somewhere safe this morning. I tried. Amen.” Silently, he added to the prayer. Why was I born looking like this, making people so afraid of me? Why, Lord?

Each time the white BMW took another turn, Melissa again thought about how he was not following her directions.

“I’m going to be late,” she mildly protested.

He said nothing, but again he gave her his glorious smile.

A letter from the sea

The sea took the sun hostage,
Said the  breathless dawn,
I saw him summoning an army of  upheaving waves
And   building an unconquerable castle.
He made  the sun his queen
the sky sighed,
Always the sea has been true to his word
I  give in my  blue color
And he never takes our  gracious sun.
He made the sand his messenger to us
the moon said,
It’s a letter from the sea
Since the dawn of man
The waves  have carried your ships
of war and of peace.
The lovely sand guarded your letters of love
you entrusted with
and  lay it at the feet of the beloved.
I has  gifted you pearls to adorn her crown
after your reunion .
But you discrowned me for
your greed stole all my pearls
And  tarnished  my virgin waves.
you also  turned my  prestine sand into a graveyard  of evil .
Today I took your sun hostage and make her  my empress
To bring warmth to the cold heart of  an emperor
Whose throne was unsurped .
Your  night will be eternal till
Dolphins come home again .

A hearty apology from a muslim woman to a Christian woman (blog Flowergirl4831)

  • I don’t know where you come from  but I know that miles ,mountains and seas  which set us apart   can’t t break that human bridge  . I wish I knew your name for friends call each others by their name  and it seems I’m a friend because   you called me so . I would love to tell you that Me being a muslim, and YOU  being a Christian ,or he  being a muslim and she being a christian doesn’t give us the right to hurt or insult each other. I disdain any  Muslim who forgets  who he is and crosses lines Islam commands us not to trespass when dealing with others let alone when they’re non muslims. A muslim, as  our beloved Prophet  may peace be upon him  said: “The Muslim is not an accuser, curser, curser with evil tongue (big curser), or minor curser“.
I  also disdain any Christian who …. I can’t even have the courage and the power to write the words ,it feels like it ribs my heart to pieces – who insults our dearly loved Prophet Muhammad  may be peace upon him . It’s not  Jesus’s  legacy to curse or insult.
A muslim is not a curser, neither  is a Christian .We can talk ,discuss, enlighten each others  gently. We can also answer each other’s questions to clarify  sombre thoughts clouding our sense of good judgement softly . Remember that insults or offensive names will add salt to injury .You’re doing harm to Islam by betraying what Allah and his messenger has entrusted with  as Allah and his prophet Muhammad  may be peace upon him command us to be kind to non-muslims . Allah says
“God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from dealing kindly and justly with them.  Indeed, God loves those who act justly.  God only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – (forbids) that you make allies of them.  And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.” (Quran 60:8-9)
Remember that some of  our beloved prophet Muhammad’s neighbors  were non-muslim and  he would be generous to them ,visit them when they’re sick and help them in rough time. That is his of legacy mercy and kindness .
Allah endowed you with a precious blessing  ; being able to write  and read ,so use that gift to draw the  beautiful picture  of   the muslim instead of uglifying  by your insults and  aggressive way  that is strongly disdained by Islam. Violence begets violence . Hatred  begets hatred . Genuine true love begets nothing but a genuine true  love. Tame the power of your pen to unveil the beauty of Islam and mend their misjudgment. Write and when you write  do it  with honor .Prayer  too  is more powerful than violence so pray . Allah and his angels pray  . Abu Umama reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Allah AND His angels AND the people of the heavens AND the earth, EVEN the ants in their rocks AND the fish, PRAY for blessings on those who teach people good.” [at-Tirmidhi] (Aisha Bewley, Riyad as-Salihin (The Meadows of the Righteous), Book of Knowledge, 241. Chapter: the excellence of knowledge
Rememeber also that through the journey of your life you  must have come across  non-muslims  who respect you being a muslim tha  they are careful when picking their words to not cross lines with you because they know that a muslim should be treated with respect. I have met some . So let’s not lose a friend  who would defend Islam guided by  the  beautiful and genuine picture we gift them  .
I hope you read those words ,they’re meant for you ,you sound upset and sad and that saddens me . You said you have friends who are muslims ,believe it or not a muslim can make  a great friend  when following what Islam commands  him or her  to do ,as friends have rights ,  holy ones so never ever give up on them .

Presidents should start blogging too !

It is a brilliant idea, that I highly recommend for all world leaders ,kings and queens for several reasons, good reasons.
Genuine friendship
Blogging  is a golden opportunity to seize  to make new friends of different fabric from the one you as a  president are used to. Friends  from all walks of life ,common people who will point out  to your flaws rather than coloring them with bright glittering colours. The more sincere comments you write the more hearts you captivate. The more useful posts you publish, the more readers you win.Posts stand for your speeches, and  decisions ,while comments stand for your reactions towards  people’s criticism  of your policy. While bloggers are  the sincere counsellors.Blogging will teach you  to accept and deal with criticism .Some will follow you ,while others will block you or mark you as spam.
No more treasure hunting
Blogging is a new hobby that world leaders can take up.It’s cheap, accessible and most of all safer than playing the part of Ali Baba and  the 40 haramy ( thieves) that some are hooked on . Not to mention the part of Casanova that  many love playing as well .
Besides people love writers . If  you fail to make them believe your credibility as a  politician, you can  win them over as a writer, then as a ruler.
Practise makes perfect
Practise makes perfect, then presidents don’t need to hire a speechwriter as blogging will teach them how to write their own speech by themselves,  a speech that will touch the listeners instead of  the stony ones we used to,ones that remind us of  the sound of  an old man ‘s heavy wobbling walking stick :monotonous ,repetitive  and  ,nerve- wrecking. Here ,a president can learn how to make  words come straight from his  heart to dwell in the heart of  his audience .I  recommend the use of a cheerful background too, because not  everyone is fond o f  faces . Audience need something warm than  that lifeless face and that  forced smile that reminds you of George Orwell ‘s Big  Brother is watching you .
After election most  presidents  suffer from low performance and  productivity. They don’t  work hard the way they did when preparing for their election campaign  due to the lack of rivals and competitors, and blogging  is the best way  to ignite that flame again because here all bloggers are competing with each other  to have the best blog, to win readers.
blogging is a free nation
Blogging is a free floor to exchange ideas without one fearing losing his neck and this policy should be extended to real life . Like  your posts ,your  legislations and decisions concerning the nation must be  open to discussion ,and instead of pulling a trigger to a head of a protestor ,take your pen and edit them.
Tight shoes
Why don’t presidents  start blogging their  speeches instead   of delivering them  face to face.Imagine doing that while sipping  your icy  tea  ,playing your favorite music  ,far away  from  blinding camera  flashes, deafening shouts of reporters ,and a tight  pair shoes that keep you from concentration, that they have to repeat every question for you.The outcomes will be fruitful due to the lack of distraction ,and tense atmosphere.
Happy blogging 🙂

Supermen

It is a sadness for me to know that most people walk through life consumed by the self, personal desire and want. Only a few can claim otherwise. In life so few are given the gift of people who are selfless and giving. These souls inspire our hearts, guide our dreams and mold our character. These people dwell in the sphere of superheroes. These are the role models, our support, our advisers; our rocks. These are our parents and teachers, our fathers and grandfathers. Today, I appreciate and remember my “dad.”

My father was a selfish man, and in many ways he still remains this way today. Though I have forgiven him and expressed my feelings to him, he has yet to change. As I grew up, my grandfather was my “dad.” He was the man who showed me how to live with compassion and dignity. He taught me that life was to be smiled at instead of frowned upon. He taught me that to live well, we must have both goals and dreams, and aspire to reach them both. Though he is no longer on this Earth, he exists forever in my heart and mind; his advice I will always carry along my journey.

We have these special days set aside for thankfulness and recognition such as Father’s Day and Mother’s Day. It seems a bit silly to me to have these respective days, for I believe that appreciation for our fathers and mothers should always be expressed, no matter the day of the year. It is a simple gesture to say thank you, or I love you, or to dial a friendly phone call just for a chat. We should remember that the moment when we depart is forever unknown, and appreciation must be given while we still have the time.

In the sphere of superheroes, we all have our own that we give the title of father, and today I say thank you for the 34 years that I was blessed to have a true “father.” in my life. We all should take the day to remember our fathers, and remember that the days to come should all hold the same appreciation. Happy Father’s day to all of you true Dads out there. Your children are your blessings, and you are theirs.

The rise of the sodomist is the downfall of mankind

Adan and Eve
Adam ,that mystical being, from his ribs Allah  the Glorified and the Exalted created Eve to be his companion in life ,is where all woman’s tenderness ,beauty and mystery emanate from .  A woman’s soft gaze melts  the heart of invincible warrior. A man’s comforting embrace shatters  to pieces a woman’s worries and  fears . Allah has created them to complete each other that the universe is doomed to turn into utter chaos once this balance is disturbed. But to take revenge on Adam’s descendants, satan  sprinkled the mischievous seeds of  sodomy in their land  .
Sodomy is forbidden by all religious creeds.
Lut was Ibraham’s  nephew and Allah’s messenger to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah which  were situated on the Jordan river plain in the Southern region of the land of Canaan. Therein ,  men as  Allah says in the holy Quran : بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم“ Will ye not fear (Allah)? I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. So fear Allah and obey me. No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!” They said: “If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!” He said: “I do detest your doings.” (Surat ash-Shuara: 160-168)

When Lut’s people disputed about his warning , Allah punished them . He says: ” When Our Decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstone hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer, marked as from thy Lord: Nor are they ever far from those who do wrong! (Surah Hud: 82-83)

The Bible too forbids sodomy.Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.

Sodomy is synonym with  human extinction
Marriage is Allah’s blessing the union of  man and woman .It’s  embodiment of that  sacred feeling called love. And offsprings are the fruits of a blessed union and Allah’s genesis on earth which becomes  man’s responsibility to keep life beating  within the womb of universe. That noble mission wouldn’t be fulfilled by the union of two men .What  would happen to human race if all men  descend into sodomy ? Life will perish.

The legacy

Many homosexuals admit they are pedophiles . A research showed that 73 ./. homosexuals committed more than 33./. of all reported child molestation in the United States . It should be noted that homosexuals themselves were preyed on by a male in their tender years ,they were sexually abused as children .It looks like  they have create their own host  to inherit their legacy and make of it a way of life .

sodomy breaks the law of human body
Allah molded the human body according to codes and laws that   it collapses once breaking them  as diseases  will start  eating it away to the bone . Homosexual act is considered to be devious by human body, in that there are substances in seminal fluid called “immuno -regulatory macromolecules” that speaks language that is only understood by the female body which will then permit the two in one flesh intimacy required for human reproduction. When deposited else where, this language or signals sent out ,are not only misunderstood ,but cause sperm to fuse with whatever somatic body cell they encounter and thus resulting in the development of cancerous malignancies .
Sodomy is also a thorny route to death because of the incurable lethal disease it generates  .For example  engaging in anal intercourse leads to anal cancer, transmission of the HIV/AIDS, genital warts, cryplosporidium, and other  package of  deadly maladies.
Sodomy is satan’s devious means to mislead  Adam’s children  from the right path  because Allah has chosen Adam whom created of clay over him .It was a trap that will lead to human degradation and loss if  it is not  uprooted  from the human soil.

Invincible army of love

Some build a tower around themselves and with every passing day that tower gets higher and higher and the soul behind its walls becomes  unconquerable filling  the heart of those who pass by  with amusement , bewilderment  and fear.

Historically, that  tower dated back to an ancient time of painful stories that set the heart and  the soul of the his lord or lady on fire of resentment, hatred and isolation  ,it’s a human tower.

Some build them but deep down they hope someday someone  will find the key to set them free and douse that fire .They wait for  an invasion of  an invincible army of genuine human  compassion and pure love . Lets’ not spin horrifying stories about the lord or the lady of the stony  tower  .Let’s leave no stone unturned to find the key to the heart of that tower . The other is full of kindness, love and knowledge .Let’s not leave space for misjudgment or pride to dash one’s hope to rejoice in hi or her company.

Etiquette of eating in Islam

1-Say the name of Allah to keep satan away
Aisha Siddiqa (Radi Allahu anha) narrates that the Prophet of Allah said, “Whenever one eats then he should say the name of Allah (say ) and if he forgets to say Bismillah in the beginning then he should say, “” (Tirmizi, Abu Dawood, and Hakim)
Jabir Bin Abdullah (Radi Allahu anhu) narrates that the Prophet of Allah said, “Whenever someone enters the house and at the time of entering and eating recites , the Shaitan says to his offspring that “you will not be able to live or eat in this home”, and if at the time of entrance one doesn’t read then he [the devil] says “that you have found a place to live” and if someone doesn’t read at the time of eating then he says “you found a place to live and you have found food.” (Sahih Muslim)

2-Share your food
Wahshi Bin Harb (Radi Allahu anhu) narrates that the Prophet of Allah said, “Eat together and read , in this, there is blessing for you.” (Masnad Imam-e-Ahmad, Sunan-e-Abi Dawood, Ibne Majah)
3- Eat with the right hand
Abdullah Bin Umar (Radi Allahu anhuma) narrates that Rasul-Allah said, “When one eats then he should eat with the right hand and when one drinks then he should drink with the right hand. (Bukhari & Muslim)
4-The dish
Amr Bin Abi Salma (Radi Allahu anhuma) narrates that I was child in the care of the Prophet of Allah . While eating I would put my mouth on every side of the dish. Rasul-Allah said, “After reading , eat from the right side and eat from that side of the dish which is nearer to you. (Bukhari and Muslim)
5-Respect bread
Abdullah Bin Umme Haraam (Radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Rasul-Allah said, “Respect bread. It is from the blessings of the skies and earth. Whoever eats fallen bread from the table cloth for him there is Maghfirah [salvation]. (Rawahe Tibrani)
6-Honor your guest
Abudllah Bin Umar (Radi Allahu anhuma) narrates that Rasul-Allah said, “When the table cloth is chosen, no one should stand until the table cloth is picked up and he should not take away his hand from the food until all have finished eating. If he his going to stop his hands from the food, he should excuse himself because without excusing (oneself) to stopping the hands will embarrass the other person sitting on the table cloth and he too will pull his hands from the food and it’s possible that he might still necessitate food.

5 things you should know about woman in Islam

1-Having  a daughter  or a sister brings  heaven at your feet
In pre-islamic arabia , girls were  buried alive .“When news is brought to one of them, of [the birth of] a female [child], his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has received! Shall he keep this [child] despite the contempt [which he feels for it] or shall he bury it in the dust? Oh, evil is indeed whatever they decide!” – The Quran (16:58-59) .
But  Islam  has come to draw the curtain on this devious ritual  to teach  barbarians that daughters are nothing but undrained  fount of blessing that  Allah  has promised  those who are kind to their  daughters or  their sisters a place in paradise .Also ,Quran chastises Parents who choose sons over daughters .Like  boys , girls must be provided with everything that will turn them  into  successful , and pious  persons.

2-Woman is a precious pearl
Woman’s hijab is her  holy armor against luscious gazes .She is as precious as sea pearls and earth diamonds. The sea engulfs greedy ships to harbor his pearls. Mountains shield their  diamonds  and so does hijab. Muslim woman loves her hijab and she doesn’t wear it against her will ,a truth that  those who hate Islam do everything in their power to twist it and portray  Muslim woman as a slave deprived of her freedom.
3-Woman is  not a public property
Woman’s body is sacred in Islam .His secrets must be unveiled only to a husband . When disgracing it, woman will be stoned to death or whipped  to purify her body and soul  .
Allah  wants  man to appreciate woman ,to respect her, to honor her and to love her , and fornication is not the decent way to embody  all that. What apperciation is in putting woman through rough times because of  unwanted pregnancy .What love is in shunning woman after  preying on her body and soul  just because man thought he was in love with her but it turned it wasn’t .
4-Woman is treasured as a wife
The most  divine moments  shared  by woman and man are  sacred  that Allah commanded  husbands to be kind to their wives . A man for instance is forbidden from forcing his wife  to sex  “O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may take away part of the dower [money given by the husband to the wife for the marriage contract] ye have given them, except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brings about through it a great deal of good (Qu’ran An-nisa 19)
Anal sex and sex during menstruation are prohibited for their ominous health hazards  as well .“If anyone [resorts to a diviner and believes in what he says (according) to the version of Musa) or] has intercourse with his wife (according to the agreed version) when she is menstruating, or has intercourse with his wife through her anus, he has nothing to do with what has been sent down to Muhammad.”—Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Book of Divination and Omens.
Suna Abu Dawud.
5-Why 4 wives?
Woman  has outnumbered  men , and  man’s  marrying  four women is Allah’s wisdom to keep woman from falling  in the abyss of evil  and protect society .
It should be noted that  Allah allows but does not command a man  to have four women .And when  marrying 4 , he has to treat them equally. Allah says:
“Marry women of your choice, two or three, or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one or (the slaves) that your right hands possess. That is nearer to prevent you from doing injustice.” [4:3]
or he has to have just one wife . Marriage is  so sanctified that Allah’s throne shakes when the sacred bond between husband and wife is broken . In Islam woman must be honored  for she holds all secrets of life ,beauty and love.

Woman’s curse

Abortion is like turning down Allah’s gift .This is what children are ; they’re a holy gift. Some appreciate it , embrace it, and tend it like a rose till it blooms .Others discard it mercilessly. In a single moment of weakness, selfishness and loneliness, woman can make the worst mistake in her entire life, and the most hideous crime on earth ; dousing the flame of the life of her own child.

remember that parenting is a blessing.  It can be a far-reaching dream for some, while it’s standing at your life door .So instead of strangling the fount of life in you, celebrate it,nurture that seed of life , hope and unconditional love within you.

Children are special gift  that  gets more precious and precious day in , day out . They’re full of  endless surprises, joyous ones. That kid will grow to become a decent  man or woman to protect you against time’s broken promises, and  to sooth your old age. Even if birds  migrate , they always come back to their old home, a home the floor of which is yearning to feel the touch of your kid ‘s toes .

Remember that you’re  not only going to rob  your child of his or her right to try a capricious but beautiful life, of his right  to know what love and joy is , and of his right  to harvest victory after failure ,but you’re also going to  deny yourself  the chance to experience a sublime feeling ;being a mother who  rejoices in seeing  that flower blooms as she or he is  feeding on your  soil  no matter how exhausted you feel or ugly you look.

Also, to  Legitimate  abortion  teaches people that they can get away with their misdeeds. Outcomes cannot be eliminated all the time ,sometimes we have to live with  them. The latter can be beyond endurance that they  will cost one’s life, but they’re the fruit of your choice and you have to pick up them  even  rotten fruits .For instance ,in Muslim society pre-marital sex is forbidden and a woman ‘s pregnancy  out of marriage will cost her  -after delivering her child -her life . A passing desire flamed by liquor or drug will cost lives or honor and termination of pregnancy will add salt to  injury.

Lord of The Rain

He made for me  a necklace  from  rain beads

And I was crowned queen of the rain.

He wrote  a symphonic poem

to gift me  the joys of waves

embraced by the passionate sand.

He perfumed his letters with

early morning dew so that

his love resurrects  in my heart

every daybreak.

The lighthouse

Drop a coin on  the ground. The wind  will carry it and lay it at the feet of  a destitute whose pride kept him from begging compassion. Trust the wind , he’s the  god ‘s servant.

Thank the lemon tree or the apple tree in your yard  . Over years ,she has shielded  you from the ablaze  locks of sun and   given you the most delicious fruits .Like women ,trees love to be appreciated .

Pray for your teachers whenever you read a book .Without them we would have been  trapped in  the abyss of  merciless  ignorance. They’re honored by god, don’t disgrace them, for they’re messengers in disguise.

Don’t hurt the one who loves you but you don’t love. They are the lighthouse when your ship is at loss. They can find you when no one else can.

A woman in love

When I seize that trouble in your mild eyes

My castles of joyousness collapse

And I wish  I were invincible billow

to engulf your ships of sorrow.

When your laughter caresses my restless heart

My ribs turn into  a lyre

And my soul sings the most bewitching song ever

A song of love  .

Your tears are as   ruinous as  falling stars

They torn my soul asunder.

Your laughter is as shining as a  merry  firefly

It  takes me to a place I have never been before,

the kingdom of a  man in love.

A jealous woman

I tore my veil to blindfold the sun

I can hear her from afar

weaving love hymns from

the olive tenderness of your eyes.

I banished my daisy flowers  to foreign lands forever

They swayed  whenever  you touched  them

This land is my dancing floor.

I gave my coloring pencils to somber clouds

I bribed them to tangle rainbow’s ribbons

I am the rainbow.

I twisted all fairy tales

Now they are  all about me and you.

When he is uneven sea

Be a lulling  ripple
When he becomes an uneven sea.
Shred his armor of sorrow.
Tell the soft breeze to carry his restless  ships
To genie lands and trade them for
Ancient arabian perfumes
To turn his days into a beautiful fairy tale.
Be a shining star
When the sun sets.
Like a fearless shooting star
Break against   his aloof shores
And sprinkle your  light
To tell you his hidden  wishes.

Lost recipe of happiness

People  around us keep  showering   recipe  of happiness on us , recipes  they tried and worked and they wish with all their heart to work for us  the way they worked for them , to  bring us happiness that  we end up with  a package of happiness . Some recipes  leave  us bewildered ,as we ‘re not sure which one  to choose . Others muddy the serenity and contentment within us as we start  questioning whether  the happiness we live  is true or fake for none of those recipes is compatible with ours .

Happiness  is not a recipe to try ,it can’t be taught either. It’s a unique experience .Sometimes it takes  time   to figure out what makes us happy .Sometimes  we have to endure pain  and loss  to figure out the essence of our happiness .

Some  weave their cloak  of  happiness   from the unconditional love  of a mother , from  helping  people  they barely know, from the mere thought that sharing their  loaf with a homeless keeps hunger at bay ,from  kissing  their  father’s  forehead when asking  forgiveness for raising their   voice rudely or from  seeing others happy even though  they  have a slight share  of their  happiness.

Others  see happiness as a bubble  ; it withers once they have it so they spend their entire life in  the pursuit of things they don’t have and they don’t need .  Happiness is to have what is  in other’s hands as well .

Happiness can wear many masks ;some masks  are  ugly .Other masks  are beautiful and it’s t up to us to choose which one to wear and once choice is defined by   one’s  up bringing, religious belief,  other’s expectations or the way one   feels about themselves .

The sole moon

When your night is starless, don’t blame the lonely  moon. Laugh ,because laughter is contagious, and you will see glowing souls  adorning  the bare sky.

When your flowers fade away, don’t blame the rain. Cry ,and they will wake up, flowers love playing tricks to see how much you love them.

When your heart is broken , don’t blame love.  Gather the pieces and gift them to hope. He will find the right person to seal them.

When you fall down, don’t blame life. From ingratitude of others we learn to be grateful. We appreciate our blessings only when losing them.

When your shoes were torn, don’t blame the rocky road.Walk barefoot and feel  its soft soul. That was nature’s plot to notice her and to be nice to her.

When a friend betrays you, don’t blame honesty. It’s Lord ‘s way to jog your memory.Look back  at your life mirror, you might have betrayed  a friend unknowingly once .

Human coins

We are like  coins.Capricious life keeps tossing  us mercilessly  but when we fall down, we expect people watching to see both sides of us not only one , not only the ugly side.

Always the beloved beautiful daughter in law or the loving wife  becomes  roots of all evil and must be shunned like a leprous once signed divorce papers. Always ,the dedicated father  turns into a devil’s accomplice once he disinherited his child. What about seeing the other side of the coin, that you have always enjoyed .She might be messy, but sometimes a wife becomes one when she’s torn between family obligation and work. She  is in bad mood .Well a wife can be a nuisance in the neck if you try to twist her genuine self.

Try to polish the side of the coin that your anger and disappointment blinded your eyes to see , that side  on which good qualities  are ingrained ,qualities that you loved once upon a time and your happiness flourished in the land of them. That person is the same ,it’s your interpretation of him  that has changed due to passing circumstances. We do when people do not meet our expectations which is utterly unfair  because we do not live to meet any person’s standards as far as our standards do not hurt others .

His wife was messy but she was  hard-working ;she tried her best .She was  moody but she was understanding and loving .She  never hesitated to admit to her mistake or apologise .Tame yourself  to look at people from both sides  and that will teach you to be fair when judging them .It will even  teach you to never judge them  ,for no one is entitled to be in the position of a judge, only the Lord has the right to because he’s the only one who knows what is in our heart and mind .

Remember by seeing   the two sides of  people  in their fall down and strength ,you learn to put yourself in their shoes to understand why they act that way in that situation towards that person. By doing that  you  find an excuse to them as you, yourself might  act the same way or feel the same way or even go too far .

When people fall down in the abyss of anger, of ingratitude,of selfishness,of lies , or misbehavior ;  don’t shun them or preach them .Rather, give your hand and lift them up. And the best way to Put up with people in their worst parts is you remembering and reminding them about  their best parts they played on the stage of life.

Learn how to dance with nature

Learn from the rain  how to hop and never be afraid to fall down .

Learn from flowers how  to bent down  and stand in glamor .

Learn from sparrows to spread your arms  and  embrace the light.

Learn from the wind to swing gracefully and greet all creatures.

Learn from  the night   to weave  a silver veil from the  round moon’s shade and share it.

Your love kept me alive

It’s the love for a childless land that kept a farmer alive.

It’s the love for honor that keeps a wounded soldier alive.

It’s the love for health that keeps the sick alive.

It’s the love for challenge that keeps a mountaineer alive.

It’s the love for hope that keep the unfortunate alive.

Love has many crowns ,but they are all adorned with a precious jewelry  of life.

invade Your ribs, steal your heart beats and play it in tune with the symphony of love .

That she or he left you behind doesn’t mean you’re not worth his /her love .It doesn’t mean  that she or he is ungrateful either. Beginnings  are like delivering  child ;they’re painful ,but they bear life within them . Breaking up is a beginning. It’s a sea that is replete with  pearls of hope, of life,of love, and of change  .You just have to bend down and gather them to make them a necklace to put around the life and take  that crown of sadness, off her beautiful head. There is no timeless  earthquake , so is sadness.

You can sow the field of the other ,he can pick the fruits  ,that allured his mind ,or soul or heart ,from yours .I’m the other ,you’re the other ,I can teach you a lot about my world to understand it better ,you can enlighten me about yours too to not trod on some traps that might ruin the bridge of harmony we’re trying to build.Because to understand how the other’s world works is the secret of a strong bond .So ,when the other steps into your territory ,gift him a big basket that is replete with amazing traditions, inspiring folktales ,healing stories, instead of aiming your rifle to his heart.

Childish daylight

When the daylight teases you, embrace it , and don’t take  your beautiful eyes away  from him. Spread your arms ,and try to race the sun ,and reward yourself with a tender flower for reaching places she can’t reach. Look up at the sky and trace the migrating moon and if he turns round thank him for lightening  your solitude. Shred your armors of gloom ,and clothe yourself in attire of hope and joy .It’s a new start .It’s a new day. It’s your gift to complete your unfinished painting of life and there  spring is holding in  his hand  bright colors waiting for your commands. So choose a bright color that personates  you , a color of love and hope.

Marriage the inescapable blessing

“And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect.” (Quran 30:21).
“Marriage is an inescapable  evil “I heard this statement by some ,but it’s not , for a true Muslim. It’s a package of blissful gifts. Marriage keeps the hideous evil at bay  including fornication  and other distorted ways to satisfy lust that rot the soul and the body. For example people who fornicate from partner to partner  reap what they sow ,a crop of deadly sexual diseases and  generations of illegitimate children.
Allah created man and woman and commanded them to keep chase till their souls and bodies are united under the wing of marriage.Virginity in Islam is  a token of purity,it’s the gift that mn and woman offer to each other . In Islam ,a fornicator should  marry but a fornicator  not a virgin or a chase person .Allah says:

” The fornicator shall not marry save a fornicatress or an idolatress, and the fornicatress, none shall marry her save a fornicator or an idolater; and all that is forbidden unto the believers.”Surah Al-Nur.

Also The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muslim man can acquire no benefit after Islam greater than a Muslim wife who makes him happy when he looks at her, obeys him when he commands her, and protects him when he is away from her in herself and in his property.’
Marriage combats  deadly sexual diseases, and provides sound pillars for a healthy society and keep the nightmarish future of a clans of illegitimate children away .Besides the spread of  immoral crimes like a brother marrying his sister unknowingly , for one of them was  the output of a gloomy night of  foggy souls driven by lust ,or by wine or by drug.
That your marriage collapsed doesn’t mean it’s a barren land.It doesn’t mean that marriage is a house doomed to fall down either .It’s your choice of the  rotten seeds that ate it away to the bone.In Islam, man and woman are advised to choose their marriage  partners . The Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him  says: “Make a wise selection for your sperm”.He also says: “A wife is chosen for four qualities: her faith, family status, wealth and beauty. Choose the one who is strong in faith”. “If any of you proposes to a woman, he should try to see of her what encourages him to marry her” In another hadith the Prophet is quoted as saying to one of his companions: “Look at her, for that helps to bring you closer together”. It’s very important to choose your partner to ensure the success of marriage psychologically, socially , and sexually.
Marriage is that armor that will protect the soul and body of society against corruption ,so try your best to not dim its light by making the right decisions and choosing the right partner.

Was it worth it to tak life from people ? If you do ,then who’s going to share with you winter ? Only human beings can dance under  the rain.

Devil’s bait

Soul is a holy pearl and body is its earthly home. Deep , mischievous waves  were striving  to fling it  on the land of sins but they broke against the sound rocks of a believing heart  till  the guileful evil sewed  for them  disguise costumes  to make the  body yield to its desires and temptation and  it can  steal that pearl of its whiteness  purity and chastity .  Those  costumes are  drinking, lying ,stealing, adultery, but the ugliest one  of them  is masturbation.

It angers the Almighty

Masturbation is evil ‘s bait to entrap a Muslim in committing sins and  strips him  of his cloak of chastity and virtue and  clothe him in corruption and  vice .Chastity  does not  only entail  you keeping  fornication, adultery  sodomy at bay. But it also entails you keeping from the distorted way to satisfy lust; masturbation .The latter rots   the soul and the body and angers the Almighty who commands us toand those who do not find the means to marry should remain chaste until Allah gives them resources by his grace. Al Muminoon : verse 32.” In that The one who masturbates will be among the seven persons whom Allah will not look at them on the day of judgment ,nor will he include them amongst the learned and Allah will enter them into the hell .They will enter the hell first except those who repent. As for those who repent Allah will accept their repentance .Those 7 persons are :

1-A person who masturbates

2-A  person who performs the act of sodomy.

3-The person upon who the act of sodomy is performed.

4-A perpetual drunkard .

5-The person who hits his parents so much so that they appeal for help .

6-The person who harms his neighbors so much that they curse him.

7-The person who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife. ( Ibn Katheer . Vol 5 . pg 458)

A journey to the cemetery  of diseases .

An unending journey with diseases

Masturbation is a fleeting  pleasure  that will  chain your body to perpetual  diseases. Medical science have proven that masturbation :

–          enfeebles sexual organ in that it creates looseness in it.

–          creates seminal (spermatic) inflammation in the testicle which causes quick ejaculation of sperm.

–          weakens the very delicate veins and fine nerves and veins of the sexual organs resulting in sexual impotency.

–          causes an excessive loss of sperm  by way of nocturnal emission .( wet dreams)

–           causes an excessive loss of blood as it takes 80 drops of blood to produce one drop of sperm.

–          weakens the eye-sight and reduces its normal limit of vision.

–          – weakens cerebral of glands of the brain which in turn enfeebles the power of perception and reason .

–          weakens memory as well.

To masturbate is growing  a seed of a  tree the fruit of which  are rotten and  you will be  the only  to taste those sickly fruits ,that’s you  have to uproot it if you sprinkled some in your sacred body .

When committing sins or transgressing Allah’s laws ,the human feels ashamed and down hearted. When sinned , fall on your  knees and  plead  for his forgiveness . Deep down, we know that we have   a merciful  creator who is there  who ,when we sin ,keeps praying and his angels  for us to go back to him ,to repent and ask forgiveness .Allah loves those who repent because it shows that they know there is a creator   to whom we resort  when  our souls  troubled,a creator  from whom we  ask forgiveness when transgressing his  laws, laws that   he set for our welfare and well-being. When Allah forbids something , we know deep down that he does that  because it bears seeds of corruption,  and sickness in it.

Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him said:”The person who  repents from sins is the    beloved of Allah and he become like the those who have not committed sins.”( Ibn Majah)

Repentance ‘s seeds are

–          To feel ashamed

–          To discard the sin committed and to resolve on abstaining from it in the future.

–                             Du’aa

–          Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him said:” Verily ,your Lord is modest and kind .When a slave lifts both hands towards Allah then he (Allah ) feels shy to return them to him empty-handed and disappointed.” ( Abu Dawood,Tirmidhi)

Hurairah Radia Allah Anhu  said :” For everything  there is a purifier and the purifier of the body is fasting.”

Fasting is the best technique to discipline the self and   dims  its desires as fasting increases the fear of Allah. Regardless to the summer heat  we, Muslims keep fasting waiting to hear azan ;Allah’s  call for breaking our .We do that  not for him Allah not to please anyone else .It  reported  from Abdullah bin Amr radi allah anhu that prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him said:” fasting and Quran will intercede for a servant .Fasting will say :” O my RabbnI prevented him from  food and desire during the day so accept my intercession on his behalf. The Quran will say :” I prevented him from sleeping during the night so accept my intercession on his behalf.” Hence the intercession from both will be accepted . ( Mishkat pg 173).

                       Lower gaze

Allah says :” Say O Nabi to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and protect their private parts. This is more pure for them .Indeed Allah is well-aware of what they do.”

                   Sleep wrapped with purity

To sleep on their right-hand sides  and recite Quran till sleep overpowers you. Death you will be pure  .

Allah can see what you’re doing

Allah is acquainted with what we do .He  IS all-knowing omniscient .He’s the king and king  of kings should be respected and revered. Not t o mention his anger  seeing you doing things he forbid .  Ibn Jauzi said:”By the oath of Allah ,a person’s thirst to commit a sin will only be quenched when despite having the ardent desire and capability to do it ,realizes that Allah Talla  is looking at him feels ashamed and consequently discards the sin.”

                                                                                          Punishment of Masturbation

Hadhrat Anas narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said,’The person who performs Nikah with his hands (i.e. maturbates) is cursed. (Tafseer Mazhari vo.12 p.94)

Saeed bin Jubayr narrates that Rasulullah (Sallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, Allah Taala will inflict a punishment on a group of people because they played with their private parts.’

Ataa (RA) says, ‘Some people will be resurrected in such a condition that their hands will be pregnant, I think they are those who masturbate.’

A muslim’s sign is childlike eyes and a  body that is as pure as dewdrop,so do not tarnish them with passing evil thoughts.

Jasmine Perfume

I gave  my moody scripts to the waves,

She told me the sea loved every part she played.

I told her that you are as mysterious as her sea

“But he is  not as patient as him” ,she said.

I hope you will love me more, now  without them .

I also taught my heart to keep a diary

your heart didn’t love his   love poems

But  that gave me a chest pain ;

his poems had got fierce lately.

I don’t walk  on my toes anymore

Only foolish woman did  that ,you told me .

I wanted to get taller  so that  I could  kiss your forehead.

My childhood mirror didn’t recognize me this morning .

She was looking everywhere for my  face.

And my jasmine  perfume didn’t tune with my  straight locks either .

He misses my wild curls.

I  wonder  if your heart knows his way

because  my soul moved home .

Hello Kansas

The wonderful elements of our natural world can be witnessed everywhere. These are not only seen when exploring forests or navigating rivers, but are truly realized where the eyes generally don’t look and where the mind skips over. The great open spaces of the world hold many wonders, in just the simple space that they occupy. Here in the sphere of fields, we find the vast openness of the world; a window into the heartmind.

An open field for some is nothing special, just a long stretch of land used for farming or livestock. Those who care to stand on its margins and look across this vast sea of wheat and grain may find something different; a simple truth that hides within us all.

In the openness of the heart we can work wonders for humanity. We become compassionate, we learn, we feel and we grow; we witness truth. We grow as we nurture this openness, just as the wheat grows tall toward the sun, so do each of us when properly warmed and watered. All can witness this pleasant virtue if he so chooses. To open the heart is to open a home, to open the arms; to let love shine on all creation.

I once journeyed across the Great Plains, from the Gulf south up into the Black Hills of South Dakota. Along the way I crossed through Kansas. As I crossed the southern border, the gentle slopes of Oklahoma started to fall behind me and the flat, open plain of Kansas began to come into focus. The sun was near to set and the panoramic view I now witnessed was mesmerizing. I was compelled to stop and take it all in.

I parked my car aside a stretch of old country highway. I stepped onto the roof of my vehicle to get a better perspective. I could see for what seemed like miles in every direction. The sun cast a blueish pink hue over the open fields as the wheat tops gently waved with the breeze. The air was crisp and I was attuned to the majesty of the moment. I felt as though I was in the throes of God, witnessing a space of pure acceptance and love. I thought that this had to be the place where spirits come to play; to run free and grace the Earth with pure harmony.

In life, we must keep the heart as wide open as these great fields are. Doing this we gain the ability to see in all directions. We can move with the four winds and we embrace all creation. The sphere of fields invites all to its open space. Take care to travel here, and enjoy it.

The Boundary الخط الفاصل

“هناك اشياء معروفة و اشياء مجهولة و بينهما ابواب الادراك”    Aldous Huxley

“There are things known and things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.” ~Aldous Huxley

In life, we have many boundaries. These are all around us even though we may not be aware of them. Boundaries can be physical, mental, spiritual and cultural. We must take care to recognize and respect these boundaries, and we must also know that the sphere of boundaries can be crossed and understood if one attunes the heart.

We all have known a “close talker” at one time or another. These individuals have little sense of one’s personal space. We find ourselves backing up to get room; to get back into our comfort zone. Everyone’s sense of personal space varies considerably. Some don’t mind the close talk, while others shy away from it. These are human’s physical boundaries.

In many countries, particularly in the middle, near and far east, it is a common sight to see men walking down the street holding hands. In western society, this can be taken as a sign of homosexuality, but it is in fact, nothing more than a show of friendship and loyalty. This is a cultural boundary that most outsiders do not understand.

In language, we are limited by our understanding of foreign concepts. One phrase spoken or written in English can impart an entirely different meaning in many other languages, or it may not even be comprehendible. Some can take a simple complement in one language to be an insult in another. We must tread lightly within the sphere of boundaries as to not offend others.

We all interpret religion and philosophy differently as well. A statement about one’s faith can be taken very offensively for one person, while another may see it as insightful. This all depends on the faith and the person’s unique experience. The mental and spiritual boundary spheres exist in tandem. They can be crossed by some, whereas others stand on the margin.

Walk softly along the boundaries of existence. These exist to be recognized and respected. These can also be broken by realizing the sacredness of them. We can do this with the heartmind. We must witness that they are there, and that through respect and compassion, boundaries can be crossed peacefully.
