Sheikh Mishary bin Rashid Al-Afasy or Mishary Rashid Ghareeb Mohammed Rashed Al-Afasy is a Kuwaiti international-renewed qari, he is born in Kuwait in September 5th, 1976 ( Sunday 11th of Ramadan 1396 H).
He studied Quran in the College of the Holly Quran and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah ( Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia), in specialization ‘ the ten readings and translations of the Holy Quran’. He has read the Quran to Sheikh Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Zaiat, Sheikh Ibrahim Ali Shahata Al-Samanodei, and the Sheikh Abdurarea Radwan. He impressed number of great scholars of Quran.
Actually Sheikh Mishary Al Afasy, is he Imam of Masjid Al-Kabir (Grand Mosque) in Kuwait City, and every Ramadan he leads the Taraweh prayers in this Mosque.
Recently, Sheikh Mishary bin Rashed Al-Afasy has visited two mosques in the United States of America : the Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI) in California and the Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) in Michigan.
Al Afasy has 2 Space Channels specialized in the recitation of the Hol Quran, the first is Alafasy TV and Alafasy Q.
Sheikh Alafasy is married and has two daughters. He’s also nicknamed Abu Nora.

Thak’s Ms. Roses for your info. That’s very useful to me. I am always interested in people who memorized the Qur’an and the Hadith. One of my stories. As I found Ash Sheikh Nashiruddin Al Albany, who has memorized many Hadith from Albania. By the time I wondered in my heart: Is Ad Dajjal phenomenon or manifestation? And I found out about the work of Ash Shaykh about Ad Dajjal, and this book gives me broad understanding of the Ad Dajjal. Also, when I was about to perform the pilgrimage, I want to know, what Rasulullah PBUH do, when he was on the pilgrimage, as precisely as possible. And once again I find Ash Sheikh’s book, entitled Haji Nabi, and I also got a real picture, like the film, how Rasulullah pilgrimage. Ms. Roses, you can tell me, what book i must read and who author? I’ll look for it later. Or, can you recommend a web site, where there are good books in pdf format? I am very grateful, you have to give time and effort to reply to my comment. I will do my best to find useful links trustworthy ones for you inshallah soon .There are precious books about islam but most of them are in arabic then i suggest that you tell me the areas that you want to know and i will translate the chapters related to your questions for you from arabic into english . I will gladly do that ,actually it’s honor to do something to enlighten people about islam.
